How we think about dues
Aikido of San Antonio is a dojo first and foremost not a health club or something like it.
However, timely and consistent dues payments are necessary to ensure
the long term health and viability of the dojo.
To that end, when you sign up, Aikido of San Antonio will set up an automatic withdrawl agreement with you.
This agreement authorizes a monthly withdrawl of the dues amount that you and Aikido of San Antonio agree to.
Typically this amount will be an amount according to our dues schedule below.
By making payments automatically, you can rest easy that we're receiving payments on-time and consistently.
If you have to stop Aikido training you simply give us a letter indicating you wish to stop your training and your automatic payments will be cancelled.
For extended absences members should talk to the office manager to work out the appropriate arrangements concerning dues.

** Special Discounts apply to the following groups:
- A second adult or child practicing within the same immediate family
- High-school or Full-time college students

Individuals who cannot pay the standard monthly dues may be entitled to a reduced rate. The actual rate is
jointly determined by the member, office manager, and/or sensei and is based on need and special circumstances.
Fees
Aikido of San Antonio requires all members to practice in uniform. Members who join at the 3 month introductory level are given a free uniform.
Additional uniforms are available for purchase at the dojo. Please check the dojo for current prices.
In addition, Adult members must become a member of the United States Aikido Federation and pay a $35
when they obtain their first rank. Every year afterwards members must pay $25/year in January of each year.
Automatic Withdrawal
All members are required to allow Aikido of San Antonio to setup their checking account, or another account they designate, for automatic withdrawal of payment. An exception is possible but ONLY under very special circumstances. Aikido of San Antonio, does not accept credit cards.
